Guys, ACTA does not go into effect tomorrow, nor is a vote happening tomorrow. While the petition on AccessNow is, I’m sure, an extremely impressive benchmark (100,000, guys, we did it!) we don’t need 100,000 signatures or 150,000 or whatever number they’ll adjust it to when they hit 150,000 (as they should, because they’re trying to drum up support, and numbers breed urgency.)

My weekend in NYC went very well!
The Hoyas beat St. John’s by 20 points, I saw many of my college friends again, and despite having a ton of fun, I also managed to get some sleep!
It was also so cold I was afraid my fingers would snap off (though it’s not much better in Philly, to be honest)… I bought some shirts/leggings that supposedly warm up more than regular clothes when you wear them. The scientist in...

Let's be positive!
Yes, I may be jetlagged, dehydrated, and headachey, but today has been a whole lot better than what I was expecting. Let’s list things:
-My workload this week is not nearly as bad as what I was expecting.
-My figure drawing class started and is amazing so far, even though it took me an hour to get home.
-I was reunited with Zac, and he even wore the flannel mountain man shirt I bought him...

After a canceled flight, flying out two days later, missing an extra day of work, and having my bag arrive late, I am back in Philadelphia safe and sound (and very sleepy).
I go back to work tomorrow…and also start a new figure drawing class. So much for recovering from jet lag!
